Welcome to Class

Course Objectives

Students will:

Use the provided list of web links and
note-taking template to investigate and list ten tips for using the Internet
safely.

Rank and discuss three of your noted tips for
safe use of the Internet, include citations for your sources using the provided
planning template.

Plan and produce a multi-media persuasive public
service announcement using a web 2.0 tool, including citations for your
sources.

Course Goals:

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Identify safe Internet habits.

Cite an online source.

Write and plan a persuasive public service announcement.

Use a web 2.0 tool or app to present visual and graphic information.
